BritoMods built the WXJourney app as a free app. This service is provided by Britomods at no cost and is intended for use as is.

1. Information Collection and Use

WXJourney does not collect, log, or transmit any personally identifiable information.

• Local Storage: Your custom weather entries, locations, and dates are saved directly and exclusively on your device's local web storage. BritoMods does not have access to this data.
• Third-Party API Requests: When you search for a city or request a weather forecast, the app connects directly to the Open-Meteo API (https://open-meteo.com/) to fetch coordinates and weather data. While no personal data is shared by the app, network requests naturally expose your device's IP address to Open-Meteo in order to deliver the weather data.

2. Location Data

The app requires you to manually type a city or town to look up weather details. WXJourney does not use background GPS tracking, precise hardware location APIs, or automated tracking mechanisms to gather your location.

3. Links to Other Sites

This service contains links to other sites (such as Google Maps links for location viewing). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us, and we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
